Student Work & Impact

LPP students create work meant to move beyond the classroom. Through legal advocacy, public policy research, civic media, restorative justice, oral history, deliberation, and community action, students apply their learning to authentic issues and audiences. This page highlights selected projects, public-facing work, accomplishments, and experiences that demonstrate how LPP students use their knowledge, voices, and leadership to make an impact.

Student Stories

First and foremost, I loved the Dunbar Law and Public Policy Academy. Educationally, it taught me the importance of knowing and understanding the law through mock trials and case studies. It also empowered me as Academy President and Student Lawyer Club President, showing me my path to becoming a criminal defense attorney.
